Since 1990 I’ve been interested in the Feldenkrais Method. In 1999 I completed a 4 years Feldenkrais training program and added it to my Physiotherapy. However people still dont know much about the work. If you dont know about something you are unlikely to seek it out. One approach I’ve taken is to put up short Feldenkrais podcasts. Short lessons that people can download onto their iphones or tablets or laptop and listen to as they go about everyday life.
Now I have a blog here and podcasts and a video site on youtube and I’m going to join things together. Instead of putting things up in isolation I’m going to knit them together.
Today I am linking my Introduction to Feldenkrais Podcast which is on my podbean site and can be found here: http://feldenkrais.podbean.com/e/introducing-the-feldenkrais-method/
This short podbean gives some background history & introduces the two differing processes of ATM & FI which are used in the work
But what does the 4 year part time Feldenkrais training course include?
Well on my youtube I start to explain.
Then I go a bit deeper if you want to know more:
So how does Physiotherapy work & Feldenkrais work differ?
